Argentina : Iguazu Falls - The Largest Waterfall System in the World

- By RAHUL MONDAL    .   August 30, 2018   .

To reach this place, we flew from Buenos Aires Aeroparque Jorge Newberry international Airport Buenos Aires to Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport. We stayed at the Gran Tourbillon hotel approximately 17 kms from the falls.

Iguazu falls are falls of the Iguazu River on the border of the Argentine province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Parana.

Together they make up the largest waterfall system in the world. The most attractive part in the Argentina side of the waterfall is the devil's throat gorge. one also has the option of going for a boat adventure or even getting a breathtaking view of the falls through a helicopter.

The entire area of the falls on the Argentina side covers a distance of approximately 9 km where you walk over well-built walkways/bridges and travel in toy trains while you enjoy the experience and feeling of passing through a sort of tropical rainforest area.

This 8,800-foot wide waterfall drops rough 269 feet.
